HIL strengthens on commencing commercial production of coloured steel sheets at Wada

HIL is currently trading at Rs. 681.00, up by 10.00 points or 1.49% from its previous closing of Rs. 671.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 689.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 695.00 and Rs. 681.00 respectively. So far 1471 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 738.70 on 13-Jan-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 421.10 on 14-Jul-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 699.00 and Rs. 620.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 509.13 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 40.99 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.91 % and 54.10 % respectively.

HIL has commenced commercial production of coloured steel sheets at its manufacturing facility in Wada, Maharashtra on July 07, 2015, with an initial production capacity of 800 MT per month. The coloured steel sheets will also be sold under the brand name of ‘Charminar’. This step has been taken by the company with a view of further expanding its footprint in the Building Products Industry.

HIL is engaged in the building products industry. It sells AC roofing sheets under the brand name of ‘Charminar’, AAC blocks, Sandwich panels and cPVC & uPVC pipes under the brand name of ‘Aerocon’.
