TCS reports 2% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2015.

The company has reported a rise of 7.69% in its net profit at Rs 5488.97 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 5096.87 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 14.97% at Rs 20967.42 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 18237.39 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2014.

On consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 2.09% in its net profit at Rs 5684.12 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 5567.68 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY15. Total income the company has rose 15.33% at Rs 26408.37 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 22898.18 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.
