ACC declines on reporting 45% fall in Q2 consolidated net profit

ACC is currently trading at Rs 1445.00, down by 39.10 points or 2.63% from its previous closing of Rs 1484.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 1441.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 1453.75 and Rs 1433.25 respectively. So far 36404 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 1774.80 on 02-Mar-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs 1337.90 on 07-Jan-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 1510.00 and Rs 1433.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 27147.04 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.30% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.02% and 18.68% respectively.

ACC’s net profit has declined by 45.48% at Rs 131.41 crore for second quarter ended June 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 241.02 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2014. Its total income has decreased by 2.05% to Rs 3038.70 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 3102.40 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 45.11% fall in its net profit after taxes & Minority interest at Rs 133.46 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 243.15 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has decreased by 2.13% at Rs 3037.12 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 3103.22 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2014.
