Physical rubber prices remained steady on Monday on buyers’ resistance in the market. Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at Rs 124.50/ kg and Rs 122.50/ kg respectively.
In the futures market, contract of August futures improved to Rs 124.57 compared to its previous closing of Rs 123.96, while September delivery closed at Rs 124.87 compared to its previous closing of Rs 124.05 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
