Physical rubber prices showed a mixed trend on Saturday, lacking any major cues in the market when trading activities remained low. The prices have firmed up in last session on firm trend in the international and domestic futures.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety closed at Rs 187.50/kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 187/kg; while RSS-5 variety remained unchanged at Rs 184/kg.
In futures market, the contract of RSS-4 for March delivery closed at Rs 192 compared to its previous closing of Rs 189.16, while the contract for April delivery closed at Rs 196.60 compared to its previous closing of Rs 193.69 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
