Siemens spurts on bagging order worth Rs 67 crore from Larsen & Toubro

Siemens is currently trading at Rs 1387.55, up by 3.05 points or 0.22% from its previous closing of Rs. 1384.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 1389.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs 1399.50 and Rs 1384.50 respectively. So far 6218 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1508.10 on 17-Jul-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 770.00 on 16-Oct-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1498.95 and Rs. 1376.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 49447.29 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.00% and 11.00% respectively.

Siemens has won a crucial order worth approximately Rs 67 crore for supply of High Voltage Gas Insulated Switchgear from Larsen & Toubro for a substation project of Himachal Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation, the power transmission utility of Himachal Pradesh. The scope of work involves supply of 400kV and 220kV GIS including supervision of Erection, Testing & commissioning. The GIS will be manufactured in Siemens’ state-of-the-art factory in Aurangabad.
