Physical rubber prices declined on Thursday

Physical rubber prices declined on Thursday on account of buyer resistance in the market. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 123/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 123.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety reduced to 120.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 121/kg.

In the futures market, contract of August delivery inched up to Rs 122.44 compared to its previous closing of Rs 122.29, while September delivery closed at Rs 121.89 compared to its previous close of Rs 121.94 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
