With reference to the earlier letter dated July 28, 2015 regarding a Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) which had been introduced by the Company for its workmen at Thane, Blue Star has now informed that this Plant has become non viable due to various reasons such as high cost of manufacturing including LBT, leading to incurring losses for the last 4 years. Considering all these factors, this Plant has been closed with effect from August 10, 2015.
