Physical rubber prices declined on Monday

Physical rubber prices declined on Monday as bearish international prices kept domestic rates under pressure. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 118.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 119/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety reduced to 115/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 116/kg.

In the futures market, contract of August delivery weakened to Rs 117.39 compared to its previous closing of Rs 118.56, while September delivery closed at Rs 116.80 compared to its previous close of Rs 118.18 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
