With reference to the news appeared on Bloomberg TV on August 11, 2015 captioned ‘Uttam Galva, Posco JV to Set up 3mln tons / yr steel plant’, Uttam Galva Steels has clarified that their Company namely Uttam Galva Steels Limited have not signed any Joint Venture Agreement with Posco, Korea. However, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) has been signed with Posco, Korea by one of the Companies owned by Miglani family namely Shree Uttam Steel and Power Limited to explore the possibility of Joint Venture Arrangement with them.
