FIIs net sellers of Rs 1273.89 crore in futures and options segments on February 27

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 1273.89 crore in futures and options segments on Monday, February 27, 2012.

FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 763.03 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 147.95 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 654.44 crore and they also sold stock options worth Rs 4.37 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on February 27, 2012 is 36.75%.
