Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2015.

The company has reported 95.37% rise in its net profit at Rs 2376.16 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 1216.26 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the company’s total income has decreased by 22.88% to Rs 52296.12 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 67813.46 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

BPCL is into exploration, production and retailing of petroleum and petrol related products. The retail business unit of BPCL is into marketing of petrol, diesel and kerosene.
