Visa Steel has informed that the Company had made an application to the office of Registrar of Companies, Orissa, for extension of time for holding the Annual General Meeting of the Company for the financial year ended March 31, 2015 by 3 months, to give effect to the Scheme of Arrangement between VISA Steel Limited (VSL or the Company) and VISA Special Steel Limited (VSSL) and their respective shareholders and creditors (the Scheme). The said Scheme has been approved by the shareholders on June 10, 2014 and by the Lenders on December 31, 2014 and is now pending before the Hon’ble High Court of Judicature of Orissa at Cuttack for approval. The Registrar of Companies, Orissa vide letter dated August 14, 2015, has granted extension of 3 months for holding the Annual General Meeting of the Company for the financial year ended March 31, 2015.
