Physical rubber prices declined on Monday due to declines in the global trendsetters and increasing stockpiles in the international warehouses. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 117/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 117.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety reduced to 111.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 112/kg.
In the futures market, contract of September delivery weakened to Rs 115.38 compared to its previous closing of Rs 117.20, while October delivery closed at Rs 115.51 compared to its previous close of Rs 117.01 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
