Physical rubber prices declined on Thursday. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 115.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 116/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety reduced to 110/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 111/kg.
In the futures market, contract of September delivery weakened to Rs 112.46 compared to its previous closing of Rs 114.78, while October delivery closed at Rs 112.56 compared to its previous close of Rs 114.37 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
