Tata Steel to raise Rs 1,500 crore through short-term debt notes

Tata Steel is planning to raise Rs 1,500 crore through issuance of commercial paper (CP), a short-term debt instrument. The company’s Rs 1,500 crore commercial paper (CP) programme has been assigned strong safety high grading by India Ratings and Research.

Tata Steel, the flagship company of the Tata group is the first integrated steel plant in Asia and is now the world’s second most geographically diversified steel producer and a Fortune 500 Company.
