Jet Airways expands codeshare agreement with South African Airways

Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, and South African Airways, the national carrier and largest airline of South Africa, have further expanded their codeshare agreement to provide enhanced and seamless air connectivity between the two countries. With an expanded codeshare agreement, the passengers of the two carriers can enjoy convenient flight connections between India and South Africa, over Jet Airways' Abu Dhabi gateway.

This enhanced partnership is a further demonstration of Jet Airways’ strong network that offers an unmatched connectivity between India and the rest of the world. Through the codeshare arrangement, Jet Airways places its marketing code on South African Airways' flights from Abu Dhabi to Johannesburg and beyond to Cape Town and Durban.

Jet Airways Group currently operates a fleet of 116 aircraft, which include a mix of state-of-the-art Boeing 777-300 ERs/Airbus A330-200/300 aircraft, Next Generation Boeing 737s and ATR 72-500/600s, and has one of the youngest fleet in the region with an average of 6.3 years.
