Physical rubber prices declined on Thursday lacking any major buying activity. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 111.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 112.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety reduced to 107/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 108/kg.
In the futures market, contract of September delivery weakened to Rs 112.03 compared to its previous closing of Rs 112.15, while October delivery closed at Rs 111.74 compared to its previous close of Rs 112.03 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
