FIIs net sellers of Rs 566.17 crore in futures and options segments on March 01

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 566.17 crore in futures and options segments on Thursday, March 01, 2012.

FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 351.60 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 334.49 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 519.83 crore they also sold stock options worth Rs 29.23 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on March 01, 2012 is 36.44%.
