SRS has acquired a nine-year sand mining license from the Central Government. The company’s mining vertical SRS Natural Resources was looking to contribute to the sand mining industry by making construction material available at reasonable rates. The Centre which is looking to control illegal sand mining, has issued such a license after a spell of restriction.
SRS is a diversified company with a business portfolio comprising of cinema exhibition, food and beverages, retail and manufacturing and retailing of jewellery. It sells a wide range of gold and diamond jewellery under the brand name of SRS Jewells.
