Cement major, ACC’s cement production in February 2012 has increased by 8.63% at 2.14 million tonne, as against 1.97 million tonne in the year-ago period. The company's dispatches in the month were up by 7.50% at 2.15 million tonne, as against 2.00 million tonne in same month last year.
On cumulative basis, for the January-February period this year, its production increased 9.18% at 4.40 million tonne as against 4.03 million tonne in the year-ago, while its dispatches for the same period surged 9.50% at 4.38 million tonne as against 4.04 million tonne in the corresponding period of 2010.
