Physical Rubber prices made some improvement on Friday, followed by a firm closing in domestic futures and global trendsetters. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety improved to Rs 112.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 112/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety remained unchanged at Rs 108/ kg.
In the futures market, contract of September delivery firmed to Rs 114.49 compared to its previous closing of Rs 113.86, while October delivery closed at Rs 114.66 compared to its previous close of Rs 113.17 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
