Siemens surges on winning order worth Rs 81 crore from DLW

Siemens is currently trading at Rs. 1293.10, up by 19.05 points or 1.50% from its previous closing of Rs. 1274.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1286.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1298.00 and Rs. 1276.05 respectively. So far 23428 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1558.00 on 06-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 770.00 on 16-Oct-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1298.00 and Rs. 1135.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 46028.54 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.00% and 11.00% respectively.

Siemens has won a crucial order approximately worth Rs 81 crore from Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW), Varanasi. The scope of work for the project includes supply and supervision for installation and commissioning of AC-AC traction systems including Locomotive Controller for Diesel Electric Locomotives.
