Haryana State Co-operative Supply and Marketing Federation (HAFED) has delivered about 6.57 lakh metric tonnes of rice to Food Corporation of India (FCI) till date which constitutes about 99.60% of the total rice to be delivered by the state-owned corporation.
From April 1, 2015, to July 31, 2015, HAFED had sold consumer products worth Rs 22.89 crore while it had sold 1.67 lakh metric tonnes of urea and 0.43 lakh metric tonnes of DAP from April 1, 2015, to August 27, 2015. Similarly, HAFED had purchased 29.55 lakh metric tonnes of wheat during the current Rabi-2015 season and dispatched 23.23 lakh metric tonnes of wheat till August 18, 2015, in financial year 2015-16.
Further, 30.88 lakh quintals of sugarcane have been crushed by the HAFED Sugar Mill at Assandh during the current crushing season and so far, an average of 10.19% sugar recovery has been achieved.
