Jayshree Chemicals rises on concluding sale of Chlor-Alkali division to ABCIL

Jayshree Chemicals is currently trading at Rs. 8.48, up by 0.02 points or 0.24 % from its previous closing of Rs. 8.46 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 9.19 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 9.19 and Rs. 8.26 respectively. So far 14072 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 14.95 on 11-Nov-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 5.21 on 08-Sep-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 9.19 and Rs. 6.62 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 24.90 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 48.82% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.38% and 47.79% respectively.

Jayshree Chemicals has concluded the sale of its Chlor-Alkali division comprising of Caustic Soda Manufacturing Unit at Ganjam (Odisha) and Salt Manufacturing Facility at Pundi (Andhra Pradesh) to Aditya Birla Chemicals (India) (ABCIL) on September 21, 2015.

Jayshree Chemicals is engaged in manufacturing of caustic soda, chlorine, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydrosulphite, sulphur dioxide and sulphuric acid.
