Visa Steel trades jubilantly on the BSE

Visa Steel is currently trading at Rs. 17.15, up by 2.71 points or 18.77% from its previous closing of Rs. 14.44 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 15.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 17.32 and Rs. 14.52 respectively. So far 141225 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 25.00 on 09-Apr-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 13.00 on 11-Sep-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 17.32 and Rs. 14.03 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 189.09 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.20% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.33% and 14.47% respectively.

Visa Steel is planning to convert a large portion of its debt into equity using the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) strategic debt restructuring (SDR) scheme. The Lenders of the Company in its Joint Lenders Forum (JLF) meeting held on September 22, 2015 have decided to invoke Strategic Debt Restructuring (SDR) pursuant to RBI Circular dated June 08, 2015. The Company is in discussion with Lenders for preparing a conversion package to enable inviting a strategic investor in its Special Steel Business.
