According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 597.80 crore in futures and options segments on Monday, March 05, 2012.
FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 132.49 crore and they sold index options worth Rs 682.51 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 34.40 crore, and they also sold stock options worth Rs 13.38 crore.
Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on March 05, 2012 is 35.48%.
