Idea Cellular, one of the biggest cellular carrier of the country, is working on a plan to unveil 4G services in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh circles in early 2016. The company is planning to expand its base in remote areas of MP and Chhattisgarh and services will be launched at 400 to 500 places, mostly in rural areas. The company has already acquired spectrum to launch 4G services in this circles. The company has more than 2 crore customers in MP and Chhattisgarh.
Idea Cellular, an AV Birla group company, provides Global System for Mobile communications (GSM)-based wireless service at the pan-India level, it is present in all 22 telecom circles.
