Suzlon soars on winning repeat order of 100.8 MW from Orange Renewable

Suzlon Energy is currently trading at Rs. 22.40, up by 0.70 points or 3.23% from its previous closing of Rs. 21.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 22.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 22.75 and Rs. 22.05 respectively. So far 3250967 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 31.35 on 19-Mar-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 10.89 on 22-Oct-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 22.75 and Rs. 20.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 11068.31 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 21.82% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.86% and 50.11% respectively.

Suzlon Group, one of the leading wind turbine manufacturers, has won a repeat turnkey order from Orange Renewable, an Independent Power Producer (IPP) for 100.8 MW to be installed in Beluguppa, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Suzlon will offer operation and maintenance service for an initial period of 12 years through an Integrated Service Package. This repeat order reaffirms customer’s faith in Suzlon’s product portfolio and service capabilities. The project will be commissioned starting FY2016-17.
