Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have trimmed their stake in Coal India by 12 basis points to 9.04 percent at the end of September 2015 quarter from 9.16 percent as on June 30, 2015. Moreover, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have decreased their holding in the company by 15 basis points to 8.45 percent at the end of September 2015 quarter from 8.6 percent as on June 30, 2015.
Non Institutions were holding 2.86 percent stake at the end of September 2015 quarter, up 27 basis points from 2.59 percent as on June 30, 2015, while the Corporate bodies were holding 1.24 percent stake at the end of September 2015 quarter, up 13 basis points from 1.11 percent as on June 30, 2015. Further, the company’s promoters’ shareholding was unchanged at 79.65 percent at the end of September 2015.
