Essar Oil gains on commencing operations at Vadinar refinery

Essar Oil is currently trading at Rs. 194.80, up by 2.95 points or 1.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 191.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 193.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 196.00 and Rs. 192.50 respectively. So far 97012 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 211.15 on 11-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 91.85 on 27-Nov-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 200.00 and Rs. 189.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 27987.40 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 24.89 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.24 % and 6.26 % respectively.

Essar Oil has commenced operations at its refinery at Vadinar in Gujarat on October 17, 2015. This step has been taken as the planned shutdown related activities have been successfully completed by the company.

The company had earlier informed about the planned shutdown at its Vadinar refinery for a period of 30 days from September 18, 2015 to October 17, 2015.

Essar Oil is a fully integrated oil & gas company of international scale with strong presence across the hydrocarbon value chain from exploration & production to refining and oil retail.
