HCL Technologies rises on acquiring engineering services firm C2SiS

HCL Technologies is currently trading at Rs. 860.40, up by 3.25 points or 0.38% from its previous closing of Rs. 857.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 857.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 866.50 and Rs. 849.00 respectively. So far 76117 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1058.20 on 11-Mar-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 725.18 on 15-Dec-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 866.50 and Rs. 818.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 121077.18 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.57% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.32% and 6.12% respectively.

HCL Technologies has acquired a Bengaluru-based privately held engineering services firm, Concept to Silicon Systems (C2SiS). With this strategic acquisition, the company will be able to leverage C2SiS’ technical prowess in areas such as System-on-Chip, Physical design etc and will further extend its leadership position in the semiconductor industry.
