A minor fire broke out at Maharashtra Seamless’ plant at Pipe Nagar, Dist. Raigad (Maharashtra), due to heavy wind and lightening at electrical sub-station in the Electric Transformer, which has disrupted production at its plant. The necessary repair work would be completed in a week's time. However, certain section of production is being operated with DG power.
Maharashtra Seamless (MSL) is engaged in the business of manufacturing pipes and tubes. The company also manufactures ERW pipes and seamless pipes. Its ERW plant is capable to manufacture ERW Pipes up to 21' Outer Diameter (OD) becoming the first and only plant in India.
