Kanoria Chemicals surges as its arm inaugurates denim fabric project in Ethiopia

Kanoria Chemicals & Industries is currently trading at Rs. 67.50, up by 4.50 points or 7.14% from its previous closing of Rs. 63.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 64.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 69.95 and Rs. 64.00 respectively. So far 2,24,000 shares were traded on the counter.

Kanoria Chemicals & Industries’ subsidiary - Kanoria Africa Textiles plc, has set up an integrated denim project at Bishoftu, Ethiopia for manufacture of denim fabric with an annual capacity of 12 million metres. The plant was inaugurated on October 24, 2015.

Kanoria Chemicals & Industries is a certified leading manufacturer of chemical intermediates in India. It manufactures Chlor-Alkalis, Chlorine derivatives and water treatment chemicals.
