Idea Cellular trades higher on the bourses

Idea Cellular is currently trading at Rs. 140.80, up by 0.35 points or 0.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 140.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 141.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 141.80 and Rs. 139.15 respectively. So far 214555 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 203.90 on 17-Apr-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 137.25 on 29-Sep-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 153.50 and Rs. 138.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 50682.51 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.25% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.18% and 28.58% respectively.

The company has reported 4.75% rise in its net profit at Rs 696.2 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 664.6 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has increased by 14.04% to Rs 8674.34 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 7606.71 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 7.06% rise in its net profit after taxes, minority interest at Rs 809.26 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 755.88 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 13.48% at Rs 8722.72 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 7686.48 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014.
