Sterlite Technologies has informed that the Audit Committee and Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 26, 2015, approved a Scheme of Amalgamation between Elitecore Technologies (wholly owned subsidiary) (ETPL) and the Company. The Scheme is subject to the sanction of the High Court of Judicature of Gujarat and High Court of Judicature at Bombay, if required, or such other competent authority, and the shareholders and creditors, if any, of ETPL, as may be directed by the Hon'ble High Court(s).
