Shoppers Stop gains as its arm opens ‘Hypercity’ store at Noida

Shoppers Stop is currently trading at Rs. 392.45, up by 3.80 points or 0.98% from its previous closing of Rs. 388.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 385.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 393.85 and Rs. 385.95 respectively. So far 4908 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 555.00 on 05-Nov-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 301.00 on 25-Aug-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 397.95 and Rs. 379.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3274.87 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.15% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.65% and 16.20% respectively.

Shoppers Stop’s 51% subsidiary company - Hypercity Retail (India) has opened one ‘Hypercity’ store at Garden Galleria Mall, Noida. With the opening of this store, there are now 17 ‘Hypercity’ stores.

Shoppers Stop is engaged in the retailing business. It runs a chain of departmental stores with brands including Shopper’s Stop, Home Stop, Crossword, Cafes and Restaurants etc.
