Oil India has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2015.
The company has reported 10.93% rise in its net profit at Rs 674.8 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 608.33 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has increased by 12.82% to Rs 2956.51 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 2620.44 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Oil India, a Navratna Company, is Asia's oldest and biggest pioneer oil exploration and Production Company. Oil India has over 1 lakh sq km of PEL/ML areas for its exploration and production activities, most of it in the Indian North East, which accounts for its entire crude oil production and majority of gas production.
