Usha Martin advances on plan to divest entire stake in DAPL for Rs 8.10 crore

Usha Martin is currently trading at Rs. 15.00, up by 0.50 points or 3.45% from its previous closing of Rs. 14.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 14.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 15.70 and Rs. 14.40 respectively. So far 28,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 34.45 on 13-Nov-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 13.20 on 09-Nov-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 16.30 and Rs. 13.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 457.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.09% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.67% and 20.48% respectively.

Usha Martin has agreed to divest its entire stake of 50% held in ‘Dove Airlines’ (DAPL), a joint venture company at a consideration of Rs 8.10 crore subject to certain adjustments. Subsequent to such divestment, DAPL shall cease to be a joint venture of the company.

The necessary share purchase agreement for the above divestment has been signed by the company on November 09, 2015 and the transaction will be completed upon receipt of approval from DGCA, Government of India.
