Persistent Systems gains as its arm inks agreement with Akumina

Persistent Systems is currently trading at Rs. 656.00, up by 0.45 points or 0.07% from its previous closing of Rs. 655.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 662.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 666.70 and Rs. 652.05 respectively. So far 1,931 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 960.83 on 02-Jan-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 577.00 on 29-Jun-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 684.00 and Rs. 630.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5,248.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.53% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.36% and 33.11% respectively.

Persistent Systems' wholly owned US subsidiary - Persistent Systems, Inc., has signed an agreement on November 09, 2015, with Akumina, Inc., a Delaware corporation to acquire the assets and hire the employees of Akumina’s content management services business. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions.
