Havells India trades higher on reporting marginal rise in Q2 net profit

Havells India is currently trading at Rs 259.20, up by 0.90 points or 0.35% from its previous closing of Rs 258.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 260.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 260.65 and Rs. 256.40 respectively. So far 38293 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 346.15 on 10-Dec-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 235.60 on 09-Nov-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 262.45 and Rs. 235.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 16236.16 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.63% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.77% and 11.59% respectively.

Havells India has reported 0.93% rise in its net profit at Rs 120.72 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 119.61 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the company’s total income has decreased by 1.24% to Rs 1359.41 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 1376.54 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
