Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan supported Minister of State for External Affairs, General (Retired) V.K. Singh's statement on intolerance in India adding that an inquiry will reveal how much money was taken by politicians and artists for creating unnecessary debate on intolerance in the country. Khan said that V.K. Singh has all the necessary agencies to inquire about how much money has been taken by artists and from whom. Also, it can be inquired on, how much money has been taken and from whom by retired soldiers, Nitish ji, Lalu ji, Advani ji, Murli Manohar Joshi ji, Yashwant Sinha Sahab and Shatrughan Sinha. He further added that it is good as the truth will come out, and it will help in the image-makeover of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Union Minister V.K. Singh on the sidelines of the Regional Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in Los Angeles has told that the debate over intolerance in India is an ‘unnecessary’ creation of very imaginative minds being paid with a lot of money. Singh also alleged that debate over intolerance in India was politically motivated and purposefully generated before the Bihar assembly elections.
