Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Monday due to lack of genuine buyers in the market. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 106.50 / kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 107 / kg; while the RSS-5 variety dipped to Rs 105 / kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 105.50 / kg.
In the futures market, contract of December delivery weakened to Rs 105.99 compared to its previous closing of Rs 106.41, while January delivery closed at Rs 105.70 compared to its previous close of Rs 106.17 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
