Heritage Foods rises on plan to set up Wind Power Project in Andhra Pradesh

Heritage Foods is currently trading at Rs 533.00, up by 2.50 points or 0.47% from its previous closing of Rs. 530.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 530.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 538.00 and Rs. 530.50 respectively. So far 1326 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B ' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 567.00 on 09-Dec-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 280.00 on 08-May-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 546.75 and Rs. 492.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1233.61 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 40.03% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.29% and 51.68% respectively

Heritage Foods is planning to set up Wind Power Project in Andhra Pradesh for captive consumption. The company’s board will meet on December 17 to consider and approve the same.

The dairy company had earlier set up a solar farm in Andhra Pradesh, also for captive use. With the division of the state last year, the solar unit is now in Telangana state serving its units and chilling plants.
