Physical Rubber prices extend losses on Tuesday

Physical Rubber prices extended losses on Tuesday, following the overall declines in the global and domestic trendsetters. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety dropped to Rs 101/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 101.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety dipped to Rs 98.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 99/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of January delivery weakened to Rs 100.68 compared to its previous closing of Rs 101.34, while February delivery closed at Rs 101.24 compared to its previous close of Rs 101.78 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
