Chennai Petroleum gains on resuming operations at Manali Refinery, Cauvery Basin Refinery

Chennai Petroleum Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 198.85, up by 0.10 points or 0.05% from its previous closing of Rs. 198.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 200.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 200.15 and Rs. 198.15 respectively. So far 21805 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 264.70 on 20-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 62.20 on 25-Mar-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 203.45 and Rs. 192.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2969.29 crore.

Chennai Petroleum Corporation’s Manali Refinery has resumed the operations on December 16, 2015 (except Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Unit and Crude Distillation Unit - II) and the operations in Cauvery Basin Refinery at Nagapattinam resumed effective December 14, 2015.

Chennai Petroleum Corporation main products are LPG, Motor Spirit, Superior Kerosene, Aviation Turbine Fuel, High Speed Diesel, Naphtha, Bitumen, Lube Base Stocks, Paraffin Wax, Fuel Oil, Hexane and Petrochemical feed stocks.
