Leading Indian FMCG firms Dabur has shut down its Egypt plant due to the ongoing unrest in the nation, while Emami is assessing the situation for its future course of action. For Dabur, Egypt accounts for around 15% of overseas business, which stood at around 600 crore last fiscal, and about 2.5% to its overall turnover.
