According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 1811.39 crore in futures and options segments on Thursday, July 07, 2011.
FII’s were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 601.05 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 1263.03 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 16.66 crore and they sold stock options to the tune of Rs 36.03 crore.
Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on July 07, 2011 is 33.13%.
