Helios and Matheson buys back $1.40 million worth of FCCBs

Helios and Matheson Information Technology has bought back foreign currency convertible bonds (FCCBs) of nominal value of $1.40 million. As per the guidelines and requisite approvals received from the Reserve Bank of India, the company has bought back FCCBs at 25% discount.

Further, the bonds that have been bought back have since been cancelled and extinguished and after cancellation of $1.40 million bonds, the total outstanding value of the bonds now stand reduced to $15.60 million.

Helios & Matheson Information Technology provides services including application management, business and technology consulting, application outsourcing, business process outsourcing services, offshore delivery and project management. It caters to the Banking/Finance, insurance, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Entertainment, Knowledge and Software, Utilities and Energy, Logistics and Transportation, Retail/Wholesale Distribution and Electronics and communications industry.
