Nifty January futures saw addition of 0.46 million (mn) units, taking the total outstanding open interest (OI) to 19.43 million (mn) units. The near month derivatives contract will expire on January 28, 2016.

Reliance Communications January 2016 futures traded at a premium of 0.85 points at 91.05 compared with spot closing of 90.20. The number of contracts traded were 7,908.
